We are seeking an experienced Software Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing software development projects from start to finish. You will work closely with our team of developers, designers, and clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality.

Our ideal candidate is someone who has a strong technical background and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. You should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and be able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of professional project management experience, with a focus on software development
Strong technical background, with a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (preferred)
Experience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum
Experience with project management tools such as JIRA and Trello
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
Experience working with remote teams is a plus

Will be a plus

Experience with other project management methodologies such as Waterfall or Lean
Experience with software development languages such as PHP, Java, or C#
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
PMP certification
Strong presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project progress to clients and stakeholders

Tasks

Leading and managing software development projects from start to finish
Developing project plans, schedules, and budgets
Assigning tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensuring that projects stay on track
Monitoring project progress and providing regular status updates to clients and stakeholders
Identifying and mitigating project risks
Facilitating communication between team members, clients, and stakeholders
Working with developers and designers to ensure that project requirements are clear and understood
Facilitating team meetings and sprint planning sessions
Providing mentorship and guidance to team members
Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in project management and software development
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools
