We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Symfony Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing web applications using the Symfony framework. You will work closely with our team of developers, designers, and project managers to bring innovative projects to life.

Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about software development and has a strong track record of delivering high-quality code. You should be able to work independently as well as collaborate with a team, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Requirements

A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
Strong knowledge of the Symfony framework and PHP
Experience with MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with agile development methodologies
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (preferred)

Will be a plus

Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js
Experience with DevOps practices such as continuous integration and deployment
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
Experience with serverless architecture
Contributions to open source projects
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Tasks

Participating in the planning and estimation of project timelines and deliverables
Developing and maintaining web applications using the Symfony framework and PHP
Collaborating with team members to design and implement new features
Writing tests and debugging code
Participating in code reviews to ensure that all team members are following best practices and company standards
Mentoring junior team members and helping them to develop their skills
Working with project managers to prioritize tasks and ensure that project deadlines are met
Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in web development and the Symfony framework
Participating in sprint planning and daily stand-up meetings
Communicating with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide status updates
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools
