The Agent Asks, The Engine Decides
A distribution partner sends a spreadsheet with hundreds of titles, each spelled its own way. Before anything can be billed, every one of them has to be resolved to the company's own product identifier. Until now, that meant manual work on a grand scale.
Now a single call from the team's AI client is enough: the platform is reachable as an MCP server, and the entire title list runs through the company's mapping engine in one pass.
- Interface
- MCP with OAuth2
- Resolution
- entire title lists in one call
- Every access
- in the audit log
A Division of Labor, by Design
The principle is right there in the headline: the AI agent phrases the request, but the platform's deterministic engine decides the mapping. The LLM may ask, sort, and follow up — the match to the house identifier is made by proven logic, not a language model.
Access is locked down at enterprise scale: OAuth2 with dynamic client registration, consent per tenant, permissions organized as categories. Tools a tenant has not approved are simply invisible to that tenant's AI client. And every single call lands in the audit log — who resolved what, and when, is traceable.
For the team, that means the question “Which of our titles does this partner mean?” is no longer a week's work. It's a chat message.
