Other tools record working time. Taktoro checks it. Violations do not happen in the monthly report, they happen at the moment of entry, so that is where Taktoro checks: if someone books six hours of work without a 30-minute break, the row turns yellow and HR sees it in the same second. Whatever only shows up in a report is usually too late.
Built in are the sections of the Working Hours Act that matter day to day: the eight-hour maximum, extendable to ten only with compensation (section 3), breaks of 30 minutes after six hours and 45 minutes after nine (section 4), eleven hours of uninterrupted rest between two working days (section 5), Sunday and public holiday rest (section 9) and the complete record-keeping duty under section 16. Since the Federal Labour Court ruling of 13 September 2022, time recording is mandatory in Germany. Taktoro makes sure that does not turn into a reporting marathon.
